Karaneh (Karen) Karimi, MD
Born under the star-studded skies of Los Angeles and shaped by the vibrant energy of Plano, Texas, Dr. Karimi blends West Coast spirit with Southern warmth in everything she does.
Her path began with a Psychology degree from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Texas. She earned her Medical Degree at Texas Tech University School of Medicine while simultaneously completing an MBA from the Rawls College of Business — pairing medical expertise with real business acumen. Her training carried her from a preliminary intern year at UC Irvine to a Dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota, where she built a strong foundation in patient-centered care.
A board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), she leads with compassion and a spirit of service — empowering patients through individualized treatment plans that support both outer and inner confidence. She is currently welcoming new patients at U.S. Dermatology Partners in Plano, Texas.
